I love anything sweet... Seriously, ask my best friend. So when she told me that she found the perfect brownie recipe (From a little site called Sweet Anna's; recipe can be found here), I was all for it. It was made even better when I found out we were going to put chocolate chips into them. Seeing as how they came out amazing (like holy moly!), I decided to share with y'all the recipe.
The following are the ingredients you will need:
First you'll need to set your oven to 350ºF (which is 176ºC for all my lovelies who don't live in America), and then go grease up your baking pan, start to boil your water and melt your butter. You can do this while you have a random dance party or when you're singing songs with your best friend. Just have fun.
After you have greased up your pan, head to the mixing bowl and ingredients. In said bowl, you will stir together the cocoa and baking soda, adding 1/3 of your melted butter to this dry mix until it is smooth. After the butter, soda and cocoa are mixed, add in your boiling water, and stir until this mixture is smooth and thick.
Following the previous steps, you are going to dump in your sugar and crack open your eggs as well as the rest of your melted butter. Once that is all mixed together in a beautiful mess, you will add in the vanilla and salt.
Once the mixture is smooth and you really want to lick the spoon (or stick your face into the bowl), you're going to add in the flour and chocolate chip at the same time. Thankfully, Felicia and I were making these brownies together so I didn't have to do some fancy maneuvering to get both ingredients in, but if you are baking these by yourself, just put the flour on one side of the bowl and the chips on the other. Now you are just going to stir, stir and stir until it is one big gooey mess.
After the mixture is all together, you're going to take your pan and pour the batter into it. Try to scrape the sides and such to get all the batter (although we did save a tad bit to drizzle on the plate to make it look semi-fancy). Now pop your pan in the oven and let it cook for 35-40 minutes. We cooked ours for 35 and then came back and checked to see if it was done. Also, they were a tad under-cooked but it was still delicious. I think it added to the gooeyness of them.
Trying to eat them right after we took them out of the oven was very hard. But we lasted... For about 3 minutes than we cut into them and ate one....
Holy moly... I loved them!
Definitely leave a comment down below and tell me what sweets you love or just whatever food in general(: Or even if you tried these!
