I still can't believe that it is officially a new year! I feel like it was just yesterday that we were ringing in 2014! Man how quickly time flies by...
This year was spent with the same people as last year, but it was much better because it was just a small group. We dressed up, popped open the bubbly (grape juice), slaved (not really) away in the kitchen, and played games. Then when it was time, that moment when the countdown began.
We did it the only way we Texans knew how. Loud. And Proud. So if you live in Corpus behind Walmart and you heard screaming... I am sorry ... But at least we weren't doing fireworks!
Once we had officially brought in 2015, we stood in a circle and went around to say what we were thankful for...
What I said was simple: I am thankful for my family, biological and unbiological, my friends, and the path that God has put me on.
2014 was good, but 2015 is going to be great!
So until next time my lovelies, I hope you had a safe, fun and AMAZING start to your new year, whether you live in the U.S., Australia, the U.K or some other part of the world.
"If it scares you, it might be a good thing..."
