During our weekend in Beaumont, the three of us (Kaci, Bri and I) knew we wanted to have brunch on Sunday morning for our final thing, even if it was just for fancy mimosas and girl chat. After discussing it with her co-workers, Kaci had given us two options and Madison’s is what stuck out for us. Once we arrived, all three of us agreed that we loved the vibe the restaurant had.
It was covered with wood floor and panels, plus the booths along the left side of the restaurant were wood and slightly elevated. There was a bar off to the back and an upstairs that we all longed to go check out, giving it a slightly western/Austin vibe. A stage adorned the front of the restaurant and I wondered who played here and what live events they had going on.
Our waiter, who was incredibly helpful on helping us decide on what to drink and eat, was so nice. Our mimosas first came in double old fashion glasses, then in cognac glasses (which Kaci and Bri decided looked like mini fishbowl glasses) and finally we got champagne flutes on our last round. Not only were our mimosas great, our food was absolutely delicious.
After taking our time to decide what we wanted (it was actually really only me who couldn't chose between two items), our waiter finally got our order. Bri got raisin bran French toast with a side of fruit, Kaci got a breakfast burger with Cajun fries (which I definitely snuck a few from), and I got the chicken and waffles because you can never go wrong with it.
All in all, the food was great, the atmosphere was fantastic and we had a blast just sitting and talking before Bri and I had to head back home. I am definitely wanting to go back when we visit Kaci again and try their regular menu items because if their brunch was anything to go by, it would be amazing.
If you're ever in Beaumont, TX, I for sure would recommend Madison's as a restaurant for you to try.
Until next time lovelies,
