On June 10th, I got the chance to finally meet people I had been talking with for 6 and a half months through texts and group messages. And all this was possible because of some amazing shoes!

A couple of weekends found me traveling to San Antonio, Texas with Bri for a weekend full of fun and adventure.
As of December 27, 2016 I have both of my best friends in the same state as me! Kelsey lives in Nevada and we have been friends for almost 10 years, but we've only hung out in person twice prior to this visit. Once when we were 18 and I flew to Nevada to then drive to California with her, her sister and her mom to go to Disney and then this April for my 21st birthday when we both flew to Vegas (which you can read about here).
Now though, Kelsey has finally come to Texas for the first time EVER. So Felicia and I were both excited to show her our hometown and our great state.

This particular post is a little bit of non-Halloween one, it just happens that I started off my favorite month by seeing my favorite musical. The first weekend of October saw me and Kaci traveling to Austin, TX for the closing shows as well as for me to visit my cousins.
The last 3 and a half weeks I have been seriously MIA. Usually this would be the time that I would apologize and throw out an excuse, not this time. I am admitting I seriously lacked on blogging or really anything the past couple of weeks because I was rediscovering myself and my faith.
For the past 3 weeks, I have been apart of Still Water Sports Camps and I have loved every minute of it. I was able to be a Kids Camp Coordinator and a Tribal Leader-both of which I have loved doing greatly. Seeing as how I have been gone doing activities and being around some of the greatest people I have ever met, I decided to document it with this post. Rediscovering myself has been one of the greatest things about the past weeks, and I can never thank SW enough for letting me find my light again. All photos were taken by Levi Guzman or Christian Hicks. As I type this up Felicia is currently driving us back home from Austin. Why was I in Austin you ask? Well if you are not following me on Instagram (which I highly recommend you do because I post literally everything on there @mikaylaoelschlegel), I went and saw The Amazing Tour Is Not On Fire!
