On the fourth day of Blogmas, my true love gave to me...
A time traveling machine,
The gift just perrrfffect for me,

A candle that was catered just for me
And a quuuessst for the perfect Christmas Treeeee.

This weekend Ingleside, Texas (which is about 30-45 minutes away from Corpus) held its 8th annual Renaissance Faire. Originally I was supposed to volunteer but I was not able to but luckily, my managing editor is one stellar gal and hooked me up with two tickets.
One thing you should know about me is that I LOVE the medival times-princes, princesses, dragons, archery, sword fighting-all that jazz are some of my favorite things. I have been dying to go to a Renaissance Faire for so long and could not be thankful that I was able to head out there for the first day.
So knowing I had an extra ticket, I asked anyone on the Island Waves staff if they would like to tag along and Mariah was the one who wanted to go as well so together at nine o'clock in the morning when it was about 50 degrees, we made our way to Ingleside and had a crazy blast to the past.

My happiness could not be measured with the fact that I was able to get up close and personal with these two beauties at the end of our time at the faire. I was also able to purchase a stellar necklace that I actually did not get any photos of because it happened to be the last thing we stopped for.
One of the coolest things our city has done and I highly recommend taking part in one if they ever visit your town or city. The Ingleside Renaissance Faire runs until the 11th of December and will be back next year if you did catch it this weekend.
Also huge thank you goes to Mariah for not only braving the cold (although she was not effected as much as I was) and getting up early but also for being my photographer. You the best love!
     Until next time lovelies,
