10 Things to do in Vegas Besides Gambling

As it gets closer to my birthday and my trip, I have come to be more self-conscious of telling people where I am going for it. When people think of Vegas, they think of sex, drugs and gambling. I can tell you right now, there will literally be none of that when me and Kelsey go. I feel like going to Las Vegas has become such a taboo thing in today's society, but it literally has some amazing places that doesn't tie in with any of those three things.
So in honor of my trip coming up, I have decided to share with y'all 10 things to do in Las Vegas besides gambling, or what 10 things I really want to do while I am there.
  1. Eat at multiple buffets: Las Vegas is known for having some of the BEST buffets in the U.S. so as a foodie, you can best believe I have been doing research on which ones to visit while we are there. (Sorry Kels!)
  2. Sprinkles Cupcake: Can you see a possible reoccurring theme here? Sprinkles Cupcakes is located across the world but seeing has how I do not see myself traveling close to anyone anytime soon, I am taking full advantage of there being a Cupcake ATM on the Strip while we are there.
  3. Bellagio Fountains: Hey! Something that is not food! Besides this being a FREE thing to do, I have always loved water shows so for these gorgeous fountains be only 4 hotels away from us, I am way too excited to see these. Probably more than I should be as well.
  4. M&M and Hersey's Store: Were you really expecting there to be only two food places that I wanted to go to? Ha! I mean, this is a four-story building FULL of chocolate! How could I possibly NOT want to go into it.
  5. Roos n Moos Zoo: This is an exotic animal zoo, although it is for an educational purpose. Their purpose is to educate people of the beautiful wildlife that needs to be protected. Although I probably won't be able to visit them because it is an hour away from actual Las Vegas, I will hold on to the fact that I could possibly hug a camel and not have to travel outside of the United States to do it.

       6. Gondola ride at The Venetian: Because if I can't physically get to Venice any time soon, why
would I not experience it for a lot cheaper cost than a plane ride, train ride and a boat ride in
           Italy.
       7. Circus attractions at Circus Circus: Another amazingly FREE thing to do. They have
everything from jugglers to acrobats every half hour for ten minutes. It is like going to the
            actual Circus without the cost.
       8. Titanic Exhibit at the Luxor: The one thing we for sure, absolutely doing besides food and I
am so insanely excited for it. Ever since I learned about the Titanic, I fell in love with the
history and context of it. When I found out that this exhibit was going to be going on while
we were there, I freaked and told Kels we HAD to go.
       9. Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam: With my recent fascination with hiking and being outdoors, I
am all about being outdoors and in nature (which is realy weird because I do not really like
physical activity), so being so close to the Grand Canyon (and probably not being able to go)
is killing me! While it does cost a little to get out there or take a tour, I believe it is worth it to
be able to see one of the great wonders of our world.
      10. Madame Tussauds Las Vegas: Okay, sometimes wax figures creep me out. They can be so
life-like in some forms, but you cannot deny they excitement that comes with when you visit
Madame Tussauds. And it is a little pricey, but I think it is worth it for the experience.

So whether you are going for a couple of days or a week, with your romantic interest or your best friends, I can guarantee you that there is something that will catch your eye that will not cost you more than you can afford.
     Until next time lovelies,
