The key to success

If you are a college student right now, then you are facing one our biggest challenges. Finals! Even though I was gone for the "last" week of school, I come back to face finals and the stress that comes with it.
Now, we have known each other for quite some time, so if anything, you know that I absolutely love a good quote. Fe does too, so when I was struggling with what final post I wanted to write, this popped into my head and we both agreed that it was perfect.
So narrowed down from the biggest selection ever, here are 5 quotes or mantras you can focus on while trying to crawl through finals week.

  1. You are allowed to scream and cry, but you are not allowed to give up. This is my personal motto with life, but it works so well with finals as well. Finals, as every college student knows, is basically considered hell week for us. (Unless you are one of those really lucky students who get professors who do "finals"). Do not give up with studying or perfecting that essay. A good grade on the final can bump you up a whole letter grade.
  2. Believe you can and you are halfway there. One of the hardest things for me to do is get motivation to study because I have a little voice in the back of my mind that plays on my weakness. So if I shut the little voice up and tell myself that I can study, and that I can pass, well then I am already halfway there.
  3. She believed she could so she did. You got this! Just remember that sometimes all you need is motivation in yourself.
  4. Will it be easy? Nope! Worth it? Absolutely! Finals suck. Plain and simple. They are the bane of every college kid's educational career, but they are absolutely worth it. How else are we supposed to know if we actually learned something. These finals could potentially be what helps us land our dream job.
  5. The best way to get things done is to simply begin. Again, procrastination is at an all time high when it comes to finals week. I am with all the college students who struggle with studying or finishing up last minute projects. We just have to find the small spark to start something and get it going.

And because everyone needs one good Ryan Gosling finals meme in their life.
