My Everyday Products

Every day is a new adventure in my book, whether it is a new project at work, a new roommate at our crazy house or a new travel plan. Even when I am always continuously on the move, I do have some staples in my everyday life.
Everyday Products
Everything in this post is what I use (or try to use) everyday to help me sane and looking not completely dead.
  • Now Essential Oils in Peppermint: I actually received this as a gift from my favorite adventure buddy, Mariah, for Christmas 2016. I had been having a lot of severe headaches and she knew that peppermint was an amazing cure for them. Its also a really big help for aches. I tend to wake up with a sore neck (or even a small headache) so dabbing some on my temples and the back of my neck makes my turn do a drastic turn.
  • My Dayna Lee Collection notebook: I got this a graduation present from my Big sister and had been wanting to use it for something special but I didn't know what. However, one of my goals was to journal more and this kind of became my bullet journal for the year. I love it because I use to write to-do lists, blog post ideas, plans in general and it is the perfect size for me to carry in both my purse and work bag.
  • My Happy Planner: I had a Happy Planner last year and LOVED it so I knew I wanted to purchase another one for 2018. Besides the fun and unique planner covers, which correlate with designs and month breakers inside, there are stickers, washi tape and other items you can get to match your planner. I love creative things so this was a HUGE plus for me. Another thing was the size. It is barely bigger than my journal so it fits in my bags as well so I can always take it to check deadlines or plans.

  • The Creme Shop Angled and Powder brushes (marble design): I love anything marble. I just think it looks sooooo gorgeous so when I spotted these in HEB, I knew I had to have them. I use the angled brush (the shorter one) for my liquid foundation and the powder one for my Bare Minerals powder foundation.
  • bare Minerals Mineral Veil: I have been using this since after Christmas and I am already in love with it. Working 45 mins away from your hometown really makes you test your limits when you have to get up by 6;15 a.m. every morning to make sure you have an ample amount of time to get ready. With this powder foundation, I do a dash of this on my face to make it look like I am not a complete zombie when I get to work. It definitely helps with the bags under my eyes, with and without liquid foundation.
  • Chanel liquid foundation: I was gifted this by my cousin (after staying with her and her husband and baby for a week because of Hurricane Harvey), and I don't know how I used other liquid foundation. The Chanel foundation is super smooth and has never felt heavy on my face. It always stays throughout the night and makes me look ten times more awake than I usually am. It also has SPF 10 which is a HUGE plus when you are as pale as me.
  • Equate Beauty 2-in-1 foaming cleanser: I have been using Formula 10.0.6 a lot but unfortunately I ran out so I had to find a cheaper version as Christmas made me completely broke, but this Equate foaming cleanser is stellar. Typically to take off my make-up, I will use make-up wipes or a liquid toner, but with this it is less harsh on my skin and it is loving me for it. Even when I don't use make-up, I try to cleanse my face with this every morning and night so I can get the dirt and grime off of it.

     Until next time lovelies,
