Instagram is probably without a doubt my favorite social media platform. I am definitely on it more than any other platform. Since I am constantly on it, I thought I would share 6 of my favorite Instagram accounts to follow. They range from fellow bloggers to photographers to just all around appeasing accounts.
Number one on my list is Izzy Sneed (@izzysneed). She is a photographer and an artist. What I love about her account is that it showcases both of her passions. (Fun fact: she’s also usually one of the people to shoot my blog photos!) She’s always doing some sort of cool and unique outlook on her shoots and her account shows it! I am very excited to see her grow in her art and photography.
Keeping in line with the photographer section, the second account I am always eyeing is Angela Doran Photography (@angeladoranphotography). I found out about her earlier in 2017 and have been drooling (without sounding weird) over her photography ever since. Taking one look at her Insta is enough to make me want to be a better photographer. You can also see how much she loves her job and how much her job loves her. She was one of my inspirations to slowly get back into photography. Because of her, I found myself falling in love with photography again.
Third is fellow blogger, Amanda Gracia (@simplygracia_). I actually met her in the beginning of November after she planned a blogger dinner for a couple of other Corpus bloggers and I love her feed because everything somehow runs together. She is also always so fashionable while being a mom to two little ones. I wish I could be like her when I have kids. She is also so sweet and kind. I am always excited to see what her outfits are or where she finds good deals at. She is also the founder of our Corpus Christi Bloggers group.
Fourth is entrepreneur and girl boss, Allison (@wanderingbones, @theselittlebones and @nomadicheartsclothingco). We met because both of us are BANGS Ambassadors and I’ve been stalking her instagrams ever since. All three of her accounts are gorgeous and soooooo appealing. Wandering Bones is her main account, These Little Bones is more of her photography account (which is sort of brand new) and Nomadic Hearts Clothing Co. is her clothing line (which is perfect for every adventurer!).
The fifth Instagram account belongs to CEO, Taylar Barrington (@taylarbarrington). So I just recently started following Taylar’s account (I know, I know, Bad Mikayla!) because I hosted a takeover on her brand’s Instagram (@Cliquish) but as soon as I saw it, I fell head over heels for the theme. I mean she’s a big inspiration because she’s just all around frickin’ amazing, but if y’all can, definitely make time to check out her feed. I’m a huge fan of nice and clean themes (mainly because I know my own Instagram will probably never have one), and hers is just so gorgeous. It’s light and airy, supports her own brand as well as herself and it’s just so pleasing to my eye. She mixes flat-lays, selfies, motivational photos, and product photos so well and makes me want to up my Instagram game!
And the last Instagram account I think you should check out (because anyone who knows me shouldn’t be surprised by this) is blogger and boss babe (and mom!), Genevieve Padalecki (@nowandgen). Besides using her platform as a way to connect, she uses it to be very real with her followers. (In fact I loved her Instagram so much, I copied it for a week to see how it would turn out and I had a blast doing it!) Her Instagram doesn’t always feature perfect photos shot on high tech cameras (cell phones because you know, we live in a world where our phones has fantastic cameras), but the authenticity of the quick snapshot of selfies makes it ever cooler.
Obviously I have a lot more accounts but these are the first six to pop up when I was trying to decide on which accounts I wanted to write about. Trust me, I could make like lists a thousand feet long of all my favorite accounts so having to narrow it down to six was extremely hard.
If you think I missed any, or if you think there are accounts I should check out, leave them in the comment box and I’ll definitely check them out! Until next time,
