On the second day of Blogmas, my true love gave to me...
A candle that was catered just for me And a quuuessst for the perfect Christmas Treeeee.
Christmas time is my favorite time for many things-songs, movies, baking recipes, but the all time thing I wait ALL YEAR for is my FAVORITE Holiday scents!
All year I wait until the day after Thanksgiving to start burning my Christmas candle which is the scent of Pine Tree and Mistletoe from Wal-Mart. It never fails that as soon as I can start burning that candle without being judged I do it. There are so many scents during the holidays that stellar besides my favorite one.
For all the bakers out there, one of my favorites is from Yankee Candle and it is their Christmas Cookie candle. It smells exactly how you want your kitchen to smell as you bake the many holiday treats. Another good one for bakers and people who love sweets is Yankee's Candy Cane Lane candle that just breathes mint.
If you are unsure of what scent is perfect for your home for the holidays like I am the majority of the time, Felicia has told me countless of times that Bath and Body Works has a good selection for everyone! Plus they have some really cute pedestals for candles that I have been eyeing recently. And for anyone who does not want to spend their money on a candle they will only use for the season, you can make you house smell like Christmas fairly easy with a few cinnamon sticks, four orange halves, a cup of fresh cranberries and two rosemary sprigs. You add those ingredients to a large pot with boiling water, cover and let simmer all day, adding more water as it evaporates. What are y'all favorite Holiday scents though? Or do you add something different to your "homemade candle"? Until next time lovlies,
