Halloween 2016 has come and gone! Now I have to wait another 365 days to get my spooktacular on.
However, I was able to send off Halloween in a banging way with my ghoultastic friends. If you do not know, my friends are always down for a party and a new pub and grill just opened in Corpus that had one of our favorite things to do...Karaoke! Now this we could not pass up.

As the haunting hour gets closer and closer with each passing day, I get more and more into the holiday.
Unfortunately, living in Corpus and not being able to travel much this month has hindered me doing some of my favorite activities around this time. Thankfully, we do have pumpkin "patches" all around town so I was able to pick pumpkins to my hearts delight.
This is not really a 'Blogtober' piece but I have been working on this for a while and even wrestling with the idea of a post like this for longer. And I finally feel like this is the time for me to publish it. Earlier this year, I wrote a short post titled 'The Truth' in which I became honest with y'all that I was struggling.
As I started to write this, I was thinking about giving y'all an update because I figured in four months, I would be better. I would have shit figured out. I was wrong.
OCTOBER IS HERE! I REPEAT OCTOBER HAS ARRIVED!
If you cannot tell, October is by far my favorite month because it is officially fall and the best holiday ever is finally here. Halloween! Halloween is my favorite holiday. Don't ask me why, it just is. Maybe because it is socially acceptable to dress up, or you get to get a ton of free candy or (now that I am of age and an adult) you can make those really crazy alcohol drinks for parties. Seeing at this is my favorite month, I am going to attempt the dreaded 'Blogtober'. Well my version at least. My Blogtober goal is publish twice a week in October with all of them being Halloween themed (minus one). |
