Decorating for Christmas can always be a tedious task, especially if it is an all-day thing. And I always seem to get hungry when we decorate so this year instead of taking time to eat huge snacks and not be hungry for lunch or dinner, I decided to make a Christmas trail mix to snack on while we decorate the tree and the house.
The bright scarlet of the juiciest strawberry against the contrast of the neon yellow of the ever fulfilling banana combines two of my favorite things - health eating and any chance to use a Marvel character in my life.
I would like to think if Tony Stark had a favorite breakfast on-the-go drink, it would be something that looked like him.
Now that classes are finally winding down and we are finishing up the last of our finals, and counting down the days left until we are officially in summer mode, I've gotten more chances to actually make breakfast for myself. And we all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
I do not have a big sweet tooth nor a big chocolate person but the two things which do me in on sweets is: Chocolate chip cookies (especially straight out of the oven ones!) and brownies. So putting the two together? Mind. Blown.
Recently Felicia and I haven't gotten to hang out because her family came into town and I was working a lot but that changed the day after Easter. She had a meeting and I didn't have school until 2, so I texted her asking if she wanted to hit up our favorite little restaurant. She of course said yes and we carpooled to the place, jamming to Fall Out Boy.
With 2015 opening up just right, a bunch of people will attempt to make new year resolutions and then not keep them. Not me and my best friend, Felicia. We decided to start the #28JumpstartChallenge given by Fit Girl's Guide! (Check them out on their Instagram).
