Ever since I started to read Chronicles of Narnia, I became fascinated with the medieval time period. I fell in love with the thought of kings, queens, knights and sword fights. There was just something so fulfilling about them. Add in the fairy tale twist of Narnia, and I was hooked. I longed to be there beside Lucy talking with animals, laughing with Susan as we got ready for spectacular events, exploring the woods with Edmund on horseback and learning swordplay from Peter.
Unfortunately, as I got older, I had to let go of some of those dreams. I don’t talk with animals, but I can never deny a dog or cat or horse a good pet. While I am not getting ready for magnificent balls alongside a queen, I do spend quite a lot of time with my friends getting ready for trips. And even though there are no woods right outside my home or a king who knows his way around them or an older brother figure to teach me to swordfight, I do relish in the times I get to go hiking the Greenbelt with my cousins or learning new tips and tricks to survive the “adult life.”
Recently, however, Izzy had this idea for a photo shoot centered around a dress she bought but never really got to wear. And seeing as how we were almost the same size in everything, I got to model it for her. So while I didn’t quite get to go to Narnia, I did get to pretend to be a Narnian princess for an hour or two. Thank you Izzy for letting me live out one of my fairy tales and for getting some really cute photos!

P.S. Can you believe Izzy MADE this crown?! She diy-ed it and I absolutely love it! You can check out her video on how she did it-HERE.

I like the idea of taking pictures in those clothes that I never have occasion to wear! I have so many skirts and high heels that I only wore for photo session lol

So do I! Especially when I find an outfit I really like just for a photo session, I am like "Welp! I know what I'm wearing next time I go out!"

Thank you! I thought the same thing when Izzy styled it. I fell in love with it!
