As I sit here and type this, the weather outside is a humid, and toasty 80 degrees. To be fair though, I do live in South Texas, where cold weather is as a foreign concept as snow. Add that to the ever growing list of things I do not care for in South Texas. But just because the weather is shorts and tank top weather, it did not stop me from getting in the festive mood.
*Edit: when I first started typing this, it was humid and 80 and hadn't snowed in Corpus. But now, it's a solid 60-65 degrees and it snowed for the first time since 2004.
Christmas is my second favorite holiday, Halloween being the first, but Christmas is the one I try to go all out for. I own several different Christmas related clothing items and am always excited to finally pull them out right after Thanksgiving. This shirt I am wearing I actually snagged on Black Friday at Old Navy (who has a HUGE section of Christmas related clothing items to pick from). I seriously love what they bring to Christmas (any holiday really) with their designs and new I needed to have this shirt.
What I also really love about this shirt is that it's subtle enough to wear after Christmas as well. Paired with these skinny rockstar distressed jeans (also from Old Navy) and my favorite pair of booties and I was ready for Christmas. While not being able to wear cute winter clothes does really put a damper on my holiday mood, still being able to style my outfits for Christmas makes up for it slightly.
Shirt and jeans: Old Navy
Booties: Christian Siriano from Payless
Until next time lovelies,
